ImgBurn

So, you've finally got your photos sorted out and you are reading to burn them to a disc. Or you want to create a disc image of some documents to send to other people. Or you need to copy those precious family movies on DVD to send to friends and family. Or perhaps you want to check the quality of your DVD burner, or write a disc image to a DVD or CD, or create a disc image, or verify the quality of a disc, or someone sent you and exotic(non-iso) disc image that you need to burn. Enter ImgBurn.

ImgBurn is a DVD/CD utility program that does all of the above(and has some cute jokes).image

ImgBurn will, upon install, associate itself with all popular(and some unpopular) disc image formats for easy double-click burning.

ImgBurn provides the ability to select write speed, number of copies, and will also verify the discs that you burn to make sure that there were no issues in burning them.

It is packed with so many options that you won't probably will just want to go with the automatic settings and default options to start, although it is somewhat reassuring that if you ever want to mess with the settings you can. If all you need is a simple program to burn disc images and the occasional files, this is what you want. If you need to control every aspect of the disc, this is also what you want. It is a bit(not much) more work to burn an audio cd, but once you have done it once or twice it is easy enough. Just be braced for the Jamaican Steel drums sound when operations finish(unless you turn it off in the settings of course, or change it to a different sound).

For the download, just go to the ImgBurn page.

For tutorials on functionality go here.

And for the first tutorial to go to when your not sure how to do something, go here.
