Chrome Ad-blocking

Chrome(yes, more Chrome, don't worry, there will be some other posts soon) is great, its fast, its easy to use, and its minimalistic. But what happens when you see an ad and think, "On firefox I wouldn't see that because of adblock". Well, Chrome doesn't have an adblocking extension, and google probably won't make one ever for pretty obvious reasons, but the next best thing is a proxy that blocks ads. These usually introduce a slight slowdown(although some are very fast), but will filter ads for any browser and doesn't require any extension or addon. Download Squad has a roundup of four of these proxies, and they look good.
